Helloooo! Now that Autumn is in full swing, I decided to write a list of some series & movies I love. A list with a few ideas about what to watch during those rainy afternoons when all you want to do is sit in your sofa and enjoy a good movie (or series). I know there are many good movies and series that are not on the list, but these are the ones which I think I will never get tired of watching.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC. I could not start with any other one. This musical is my favourite movie of old time. I know most of its songs by heart and I just love everything about it.

DIRTY DANCING. The story is really beautiful, Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey both are amazing in this movie and the last scene is such a classic. I have only watched it once (and now, I have start watching it again) but I really like this movie.

BACK TO THE FUTURE. I like 80s movies and if you also like them, you need to watch this movie. It is also a classic.

MAMMA MIA. This musical is one of my favourites. When the second movie came out last Summer, I spent all the weeks after singing to the Mamma Mia songs. It has a bit of everything: it is funny, it has some sad bits, it is a musical, …

MARY POPPINS. One of those movies I watched when I was little but up to this day, I still like it. All the songs, the story it tells, the actors and the costumes are perfect. And it takes place in London!

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. I watched it for the first time not that long ago, honestly, I don’t know why I hadn’t watched it yet. This movie shows the inside of a fashion magazine (even the not so glamorous parts) and I couldn’t like it more. It’s a must-watch if you like fashion.

ABOUT TIME. This movie is SO beautiful. I have watched it a few times and I do not get tired of it. It is a romantic comedy, but with some sci-fi bits. The whole movie is really charming and the message behind it is even better.

MY BESTFRIEND’S WEDDING. Another romantic comedy, which is my favourite genre together with musicals (although at this point of the list, I think you already knew). I love everything about this movie, it is also quite a classic and Julia Roberts did an incredible job.

HARRY POTTER. They are one of those movies which are not my all time favourite but I really like them. And especially during the time between October and Christmas, I feel like they are the perfect movie to watch.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. Moving into series, I recently finished watching How I Met Your Mother and I have to say it has become one of my favourite series ever. I just laugh non-stop during the whole episodes. They are so funny and at the same time, they give you a sense of unity among the gang members.

GOSSIP GIRL. I haven’t finished it yet, but I already know it is going to be one of my favourite series ever. It’s really entertaining to watch everything that happens to Blair, Serena, Chuck, Nate and Dan. And in each episode there is something new.

GILMORE GIRLS. I proclaim this the best series to watch during Autumn. There is something about Stars Hallow that makes you feel really cosy and the relationship between Lorelai and Rory is one of the best things about the series.
These are only A FEW of the movies and series I like however, I could go on talking about this topic for hours. But, I want to know, what are your favourite movies and series?
Love, M.
Gossip Girl is my favorite TV Show! It’s so good. Also, the song in the restaurant in My Bestfriend’s Wedding is the best! xx
