FOUR FILM REVIEWS II

Last week, I shared four films we had watched at our home and my little review of them. If you want to read that post, click here. Today I’m reviewing the four films we watched this past week: ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING, MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN, CROCODILE DUNDEE & A SIMPLE FAVOR.

THURSDAY: ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This 80s film is a classic in our family and a film we all enjoy. The adventures that a babysitter and three kids go through will certainly entertain you and make you laugh. My favourite scene has to be the one in which they sing the “Babysitting Blues”. I recommend it 100%!

FRIDAY: MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I just really, really, really like this movie and enjoy every second of it! From the songs to the actresses and actors, where it takes place… I just love it! It’s probably one of my top favourite films and in some aspects, better than the first one. I love the different scenes from the past and the present and how they are connected. Of course, the best scene is the last one! You will have to watch it to find out what it is about.

SATURDAY: CROCODILE DUNDEE

Rating: 4 out of 5.

From all the four films this is probably the one I liked the least. But that’s just because the other three, in my opinion, are very good. This 80s film is definitely entertaining and full of humour. It is set between Australia and New York and tells what happens when a bushman (Mick Dundee) is taken to the big city. A great movie.

SUNDAY: A SIMPLE FAVOR

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This movie, that was chosen by my mum, was as well in my Netflix list. Although it is different from the ones we usually watch, I really liked it. This film which is based on a novel by Darcey Bell follows a single mum who tries to figure out the disappearance of her recent new friend. A film that will keep you in tension all through it and waiting for the next thing to happen.

These are the four films from last week! Hopefully, you have found a film to watch this weekend #athome. What films have you watched recently? Let me know in the comments below.

Love, M.
