Movies To Watch These Holidays

Hello everybody & welcome to the ninth day of 12 Days Of Christmas by Marioness!

Today I wanted to put together a little list of Christmas movies I’v been watching on Netflix during this December and a little review of them. So if you’re planning on watching lots of festive movies this holidays (which I’m sure you are), I’ve got you covered!

A CHRISTMAS PRINCE: THE ROYAL WEDDING

This movie is the second part of “A Christmas Prince”, a movie which was released during this time last year. This time, the young American journalist will have to prepare her & Richard’s wedding.

I really liked this movie, but I have to say that the first one was better. It’s all quite predictable and nothing is too deep. But it makes you feel the Christmas spirit & have a good time!

THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES

This movie is so so so good! It’s just a must watch. When we decided to watch it, I didn’t expect to like it as much, in fact, I wasn’t really planning on watching it. But as I have said, it surprised me positively.

This movie explains what happens during Christmas night when Santa crashes and how to siblings help him bring back the Christmas spirit all around the globe. But not only that, it mixes humor, music, topics that make you reflect & so much more!

THE PRINCESS SWITCH

This movie for me was a mix between “A Christmas Prince” and “Parent Trap”. I really enjoyed this movie and I would probably place it in the top three of Christmas movies I’ve watched this season. Watch it if you’ve the opportunity!

It’s about a baker from Chicago and a princess that discover how much they look alike. Then, they decide to trade places and what happens next you’ll have to discover it by watching the movie! Oh! And I love the set in this movie!

LOVE ACTUALLY

Next we have the one and only “Love Actually” which I believe doesn’t need an introduction because is just The Christmas Movie. But believe it or not, I hadn’t watched it until a few days ago.

And as expected, I loved it! It mixes a bit of love and a bit of humor, so for me that’s a win-win situation. It’s another must watch during the holidays.

THE HOLIDAY CALENDAR

A stuck photographer inherits and old calendar which seems to predict the future. What will happen next? That’s what she finds out every morning during the countdown to Christmas.

I have to confess, that this wasn’t the best movie, but it was still quite good. It was one of those movies that makes you have a great time but that’s it. But one thing that I loved it how it happened around the photography world and it happens in a really Christmassy town.

Here you have it! Some movies to watch during this holidays! And what about you, have you watched any Christmas movies yet? Let me know in the comments!

Love, M.
