Book Review: Otoño en Londres & Invierno en Las Vegas

Last week I ended what is the second book of a trilogy from Andrea Izquierdo. It’s called “Invierno en Las Vegas” and I enjoyed reading every single page of it. The previous book was “Otoño en Londres” and I have to say that I hadn’t liked a book for so long until I read this.

These two books are about what happens to a girl called Lily when she decides to go to study in a London university for one year. There she’ll have to face with friendship, love & drama.

The first book of the trilogy, “Otoño en Londres” I read it in like 1 or 2 weeks, so you can see that I really liked it! I must say that first, I chose this book because it was set in London, but I quickly find it so good. One thing that I find original is how the author explains the story from the point of view of each character. And by how she writes it really makes you feel like you were there.

Invierno en Las Vegas“, the second book took me a little bit more to read it, but I loved as much as the other.  This one is more darker & mysterious which makes it more exciting. It also takes place in more than one scenario so there’s more movement. I probably enjoyed this one more because I already knew the characters and understand more what was going on.

One thing that they have in common is how they both end in a cliffhanger, which makes you want to go and read the next one. They also share an enjoyable combo of friendship, love and mystery. All that, makes me want to read the next one “Primavera en Tokio” as soon as I can. If it follows the same line as the others, it sounds promising!

Here I leave you the links to the author’s social media so that you can check her out!

She also has a YouTube channel where she talks mainly about books!

    1. It’s such a good book! And yes, they’re in Spanish… I’ve looked and I can’t find an English traduction! But if your learning Spanish or you’re planning one day to study this language, I will recomend it 100%!
