Right now I’m sitting on the same chair and facing the same computer I was when I published my first ever post. And not many things have changed, someone could even say that it has only been a few minutes since the first image. But not, more than two years have gone by and one important thing has changed, and that’s me.
I first started my blog when I was 14 years old so that I could share with the world what I loved. And ever since that day I’ve seen this blog grow, I’ve experienced amazing days but also not so amazing days, I have changed but in some ways I haven’t, I discovered new things, the things that I like are different…
That’s why I think it’s time for a change in this blog, and with every big change it comes a risk. But this time I’m ready for it. During the past few weeks I have felt stuck, I wasn’t feeling 100% me in the blog, I was lacking inspiration and I didn’t feel proud of what I was posting here. And today, I have finally decided to do it.
Don’t get me wrong, I will still share lots of fashion related posts because that’s my passion and the industry where I want to work when I’m older. But I’m planning on making them more creative and putting more effort into them. I want to share with you trends I like, hauls, outfits I wore and maybe even do lookbooks. However, I also want to explore deeper into the fashion industry.
And of course, there will be posts where I would share what I listen to, books I’m reading, movies I love, what I visit… What I like to call a sparkle of lifestyle in this mainly fashion focused blog.
So as you can see I will still be sharing what I love with you and maybe some of you will feel like it’s not that big of a change. But I just felt like I needed to publish this post so that there can be a before and an after.
Because after this post, I want to start being who I really am without caring what others say, I want to connect more with my followers, I want to combine two of my passions (fashion & blogging) into one and I want to feel happier than ever with my blog.
So let’s start this new era right now, here in MARIONESS!
