I’m sorry to say that, as you may have noticed, yesterday I didn’t upload any posts due to the events occurred in Catalonia. I didn’t want to talk about politics on this blog, but what happened yesterday to my country is something I could never have imagined and I will never forget. I don’t know if you have heard of something, but I just want to let you know my opinion and this’s what my people yesterday lived.
Yesterday, my country wanted to decide its future through a referendum, while the Spanish police tried to stop people from voting. They took ballot boxes and material related to the referendum from polling stations using violence. Leaving hundreds of wounded people behind.
But all this didn’t start yesterday, during years Catalans wanted to decide in a democratic way the independence or not of the country. This month when the referendum was summoned, the Spanish government sent thousands of policemen to watch the movements of pacific people expressing their own opinions. Until it arrived to yesterday’s limits.
I was most of the day near a polling station with my family and that’s one of the reasons why yesterday I didn’t upload a post and as a sign of disagree with yesterday’s violence. That’s why I decided to write this post, to help Catalans spread the word of what happened yesterday.
I encourage you to investigate a little bit more of what’s happening in Catalonia. If you want to know more, here you have some links to yesterday’s news with some images of what happened yesterday:

Thanks to everybody for reading my post because it really means a lot and I hope that you feel as sorry as me for the events that have happened yesterday. I also wanted to clarify that everyone can have their own oppinion, but violence is never an option.
Finally, if you have found this post interesting, help me spread the word and share it with your family, friends and people you know!
Love, M.

I am sorry to hear that violence took place in your place. SEE IN LIFE EVERY THING WILL NOT HAPPEN AS TO HOW WE LIKE BUT WE MUST TAKE ALL THINGS WHICH HAPPEN TO BE THE ALMIGHTY ‘s decession. DO YOUR DUTY AND LEAVE THE REST TO GOD.

Yeah, it’s true. There was a general stop in my country where everyone who wanted didn’t go to work and went to their town or main cities to protest against what happend on the 1st of October. I did participate and don’t worry, in Catalonia all the protest are 100% pacific besides what happend during last Sunday because of the Spanish police. Thanks for asking!

Thank you for the words! And I couldn’t agree more, nothing should end in violence. Sadly, this happened here but even with violence they weren’t able to stop it!

We are one world. I can’t see things in terms of countries, race, religion, etc. We are human beings that inhabit the same planet. We should all unite together. Keep strong, one person can make a big difference.
