Bloggers Helping Bloggers

Hello everybody and welcome back to my blog!

A few days ago I received an email from a reader asking me about some tips to grow her blog and because this isn’t the only email I received about that subject, I decided to make a post with some of my tips when it comes to blogging.

I’m not an expert, but I have been blogging for almost a year, so I just want to share these tips with you that hopefully will be helpful. They are mostly for bloggers, but if you are a reader who doesn’t have a blog you may enjoy it as well. Let’s get started!

1. Be active on other social media platforms.

I really recommend opening an account on other social media like Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or Facebook. Having it would allow people to discover who you are besides your blog.

I have Instagram and Pinterest (you can totally check out them!). I especially like Instagram because it allows me to share everyday photos and get creative. And it also helps people who aren’t on WordPress to know me.

2. Check out other peolpe’s blogs.

I know it’s not easy because you may not have all the time in the world. But checking some blogs can really help to grow yours. I find really useful to spread some likes to their posts and to comment on some posts.

This way, people who don’t know about your blog can become a new follower!

3. Have an aesthetic and a uniform image.

When it comes to blogging and the online world, one thing that matters a lot is your image. People may follow you or not because of your blogging aesthetic. That’s why I recommend 100% to develop your special touch on your blog.

Like this people would be able to recognize your posts or work even if they don’t know you made this. You know leave your mark in all the things you do.

4. Be constant.

You may have heard this many times, but I think is the key of blogging. If you don’t post often people would more likely unfollow you because they may get bored of waiting or your content may be old.

So post regularly. You don’t have to post every single day, I think that posting two or three times a week is a good amount of posts. But always remember, it’s better quantity than quality.

5. Do what you love and love what you do.

This is the most important thing! It may sound a bit poetic, but it’s true. If you write about what you love, you will feel more happy and proud of your work.

And also don’t post something you don’t like or that you aren’t proud of it. It’s better to wait and publish later a better post that represents you.

And that’s it for the post! It has ended up being a long post, but I really think that it can be really useful for all the bloggers out there.

Also, if you are a blogger and you have some tips to share with us, don’t forget to let us know them in the comments! I think we can make of the comments a space where bloggers can help other bloggers. And leave the link to your blog so that we can give you some feedback. What do you think?

Love, M.

  1. These tips were great!! Personally, I believe in quality posts then quantity posts. Readers are all to know if you didn’t put effort into a post vs a post that was made with effort

      1. I have glanced thro some of your posts though not fully read them.what astonishes me is that you being a college girl (my assumption)find all the time in the world to share how one can be a good blogger, how to make photographs, how to make phone cases, etc, etc.I dont think in my life time i can match yo your level.I am really impressed by the energy shown by you. All these iam not saying just to please you.You deserve it. To point out other bloggers simply go thro the comments which i make and dont even bother to go thro my posts. This is just like throwing cold water on one’s effort.Again i want to mention that you were the first one to comment on all my posts.I am happy about the same.Sorry for the taking your previous time to go thro my comments.
