Hello everybody and welcome back to my blog!
Today I’m going to talk about books as it’s the 23rd of April and that means that in Catalonia we celebrate Saint George. During this day, it’s typical to give roses and books so the streets are normally full of people that are enjoying stalls outside full of books and roses.
So to keep the tradition of my country, I decided to make a post with one book that I have just finished and three books that I’m looking forward to read it. But if you don’t celebrate this day, here you have some ideas for your next Spring read under the sunshine.
The book I have just finished is Fangirl. And even though it takes long to finish it, I have enjoyed the journey that’s why it appeared in one of my latest favourites. It’s about a girl who loves to write fan fiction and her cozy bed, but now she is eighteen and it’s time to face the real world and go to University.
I really liked the story and the ups and downs that Cath, the main character goes through. So if you want to read an enjoyable book that lasts you some days (it has quite a bit of pages) this is your choice.
Now, here you have a list of the books I’m looking forward to read. The first one is the second part of The 100 and it’s called Day 21. I really want to read this as the first part of the book was really interesting, so hopefully I will start it soon.
Finally, I have some not so well-known books. These are We Are All Pirates and Mio Fratello Rincorre I Dinosaure that in English will be My Brother Persecutes a Dinosaur. I don’t know much about them as I still have to look a bit for them on Google. So if you have read them tell your opinion about it!
And that’s all for this post, I hope you liked it and that I gave some ideas for your next Spring read.
Love, M.
