Movies & Books Recomendations

Hello everybody! Today I want it to share with you the latest books I’ve read and two films I totally recommend. Lastly, I have been reading two books, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and The WTF book or Lex’s Book. I have different opinions about them and I also think that they are very different from each other. And if you stay until the end you will find a free sheet for your to read list. Let’s start!

Firstly, I want it to talk about Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. If you are a Harry Potter fan you will probably already read it, but if you aren’t let me introduce it to you. This book is the eighth story about Harry Potter, but ninteen years later. But this time it’s all about its son Albus Severus Potter. This book has always presented on stage so it might be worth it to read it.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

I first saw this book on Internet, but about a month ago when I saw it at the library I didn’t think about it and catch it immediately, I really want it to read it. I read it with four days more or less and I have to say that I really enjoyed. I think that it was the first time I read a book in written for being represented on stage and I have to say that I imagined more difficult to read but it wasn’t. So even if you are a Harry Potter fan or no it’s a most to read.

The next book I want to share with you was also from my hometown library and it is Lex Bok or The WTF Blog from Sara Kadefors. When I catch it, I didn’t know anything about it and haven’t heard of it before, but when I saw “BLOG” I catch it. And I was also attracted by the front cover so I decided to give it a try.

Lex is in his last year of high school and she is so tired. Tired of all the performance requirements and the rush of entrepreneurial mindset, imposed on her and other young people. In protest, she creates an alter ego Maya via her blog revolt against all that success stories units. But what happens when the blog suddenly turns out to be just a real success?

I don’t know what to say about this book, I like it, but I don’t like it. For one side, I have to say that it was catchy and interesting. But maybe because I didn’t feel identified with the character I didn’t enjoy it as much as others. It’s a good book that it’s well written and I think that many people would like it. So if you do tell me what you think!

Now moving into movies I want to share with you Adventures In Babysitting but not the new one, the old one. This film is an old one, but also very funny. I have seen it about three times and I enjoyed every single one. If you want to spend a good time and laugh this film is for you. It’s full of troubles, adventures and funny, but hard times. It’s always good to see some old movies that at the moment were so popular!

A babysitter must leave her safe suburban surroundings and head for the heart of the big city to rescue a stranded friend, unaware of the perilous adventures that await her and the kids she’s looking after who have tagged along.

The last movie I want it to recommend is Pixels. I know that probably lots of people will know it because it came up last year, but if you don’t, you don’t know what you are missing. This film has made me pass so many good times and it’s very funny. I have to say that it’s not a movie with a deep argument, but it’s so funny and very imaginative. Has anyone seen it? What do you think about it?

When aliens misinterpret video feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, they attack the Earth in the form of the video games.
